Yamanashi Prefecture is also famous for the largest amounts of produce of grapes and peaches in Japan. I love Mt. Fuji, grapes and peaches!! I look at and look up to Mt. Fuji every day. Mt. Fuji area is full of nature, beauty and history, and has a lot of places you must visit. Mt. Fuji was registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 2013, which is officially named "Fujisan, sacred place and source of artistic inspiration". The inscribed property consists of 25 sites which reflect the essence of Mt. Fuji's sacred and artistic landscape. In addition to these sites, there are many nice view spots, interesting museums, leisure facilities, and off-beaten spots in Mt. Fuji area. There are a lot of ways to enjoy yourself. Exploring the Aokigahara Forest and having a relaxing time at Lake Kawaguchiko is one of my favorite tours. Visiting Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine always gives me spiritual energy because of its sacred atmosphere. Cycling at Lake Kawaguchiko or Lake Yamanakako refreshes me. The view of Mt. Fuji from Arakurayama Sengen Park (Chureito Pagoda) is getting popular and famous. From the Fuji Five Lakes, you can enjoy the magnificent views of Mt. Fuji with the lake. From spring through autumn, you can go up to the 5th station by bus or taxi. If you would like to visit some off-beaten spots, I will be pleased to take you to my special places. I am also familiar with good restaurants and cafes in the area.
