Your are most welcome to Ireland . I was raised on the world Famous Ring of Kerry , our family front door, overlooks the Skellig (Star Wars) in the Wild Atlantic Way . Our next city was New York or so they say . I qualified as a Montessori teacher and now hold a degree in Early Childhood Care and Education. Having worked for over 30 years in the Childcare profession. I am a qualified professional driver and an approved tour guide . I now want to share this great country with fellow travelers, from all over the world . During a guided tour with me, you can expect to share a brief history of this land . Observe the Natural History , the shape of the countryside along the Wild Atlantic Way and Ancient East of Ireland . We will visit country houses such as Muckross House and the wonderful gardens like Powerscourt . A visit to Ireland would not be complete without exploring many of its historic ruins . Last but not least enjoy the taste of Ireland from land and sea . I am a fluent speaker and teacher of the Gaelic Language , qualified in arts and crafts , knitting is my preferred craft and if you would like to learn the basic knitting stitches on tour, please let me know . Annie was the perfect combination of informative, helpful, prompt and most of all fun. She accommodated all of our requests and provided memorable options of places to see and things to do. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and would certainly want her to guide us on a return trip to Ireland.
Annie was excellent, knowledgeable and a great guide. Helped tailor the tour having our children in mind and an elderly that travelled as well. We had a great time and got to see a significant amount of Ireland sites and history in 5 days.
Our 3 days with Annie was like spending it with a family friend. Due to changes with the weather, our 3 day framework was adjusted to make sure we had the best tour experiences. Annie is knowledgeable, , offered suggestions, adjusted, friendly, enjoyable and provides insights into the Ring of Kerry as it was her childhood home. Our tour experiences were above and beyond what we had planned for when we booked it.
Annie is a delight. Charming and knowledgeable, she is everything you would want in a tour guide. Annie is a true local and her insight into the area is extensive. She certainly knows the correct vistas to showcase, but her personal touch and experiences really helped to bring the area to life for us. She was always sensitive to the group's wishes, often suggesting destinations or activities we hadn't considered, but perfectly happy to skip anything that didn't suit us. A true five star experience!
I'm so pleased I chose Ann for our 3 Day Tour of SW Ireland. This was our first trip to Ireland. Ann was personable, professional & attentive to our needs. My husband collects coins & currencies no longer in use. She put out "feelers" , located & picked up a few coins /currencies. Later, she went shopping & got more coins at an antique shop while our group was having lunch! My husband is quite happy. We couldn't have asked for a more fun & caring guide to show us Ireland! We loved Ann & our tour!
Upon meeting Annie, we just knew we were going to have a great tour. Annie is the kind of guide who makes you feel welcome and at home. She bent over backwards for whatever we wanted to do or see. There was never any pressure. She was a plethora of knowledge and gave us a tour of a life time. I would absolutely recommend Annie. She is wonderful with children and adults of any age. Truly a rare find. Always smiling and happy. Truly a gem!
