Explore amazing Meteora, a Wonder of Nature and UNESCO World Heritage Site

We had an amazing private tour to Meteora with Nikolaos as our guide! We were able to book the trip last minute, and everything went perfectly. Nikolaos was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history and beauty of the area. He made the long drive from Athens enjoyable and shared so many interesting stories along the way. Exploring the monasteries and taking in the breathtaking scenery of Meteora was an unforgettable experience. Nikolaos also took us to a great local spot for lunch, which was the perfect addition to the day. Overall, an exceptional tour that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Greece. Nicholas was great! Very knowledgeable and also very entertaining. His driving was safe and car very clean. He showed us several “photo” places that we would never have known about-places the big tour buses cannot go. We had a fabulous authentic lunch at a restaurant near Meteora. Would not hesitate to book a tour with him again.

We had a wonderful, informative, interesting full day with Nikolaos touring the Hanging Monasteries of Meteora. Nikolaos was very communicative in planning the day, and organized it as a custom experience for us. He is very easy to talk to and knows so very much about the area. Nickolas was timely and waiting for us to disembark from the ship, offered cold bottles of water and a locally made lemon soda and insured we were adequately hydrated as the weather was very hot. Nikolas is very knowledgeable and courteous guide provided detailed information on each location visited. I would highly recommend him to all who are interested in a tour of the Meteora.

A lovely day with Nikos. Very informative and helpful - I only wish I had been fit enough to climb all the steps to see some more. Nikos made sure we saw as much as we were able and took us to the best hidden view points for great photos. Lovely and chatty on the journey too.

Meteora is a magical place like no other. Having Nikos as your guide will make visiting this very special place even better. Nikos picked us up at our cruise ship in Volos and we set out on the two hour drive to Meteora. Nikos is such a lovely person and great conversationalist that time passed quickly as we learned about the area, Greece and so much more. The monestaries (we visited three) are so beautiful and the paintings that completely cover the walls and ceilings are incredible. Nikos knew the best places to stop for stunning views (and photos). Nikos is a great guide. He kept us well hydrated with cold bottled water and a delicious local orange drink. We had a lovely lunch in the quaint town as well. This tour and Meteora should not be missed.
