Hello everyone! My name is Nikos and I would be more than happy to guide you through the area I grew up, live in, and adore! I was born in Athens, grew up in Volos, studied Mathematics in Thessaloniki, and extensively traveled Greece most of that time. As a result, I have developed a passion for Greece, for the area where I live, which is by far my favorite; a passion that I always try to pass on to the people I transfer to and guide. The car I own is a Mercedes E-Class, and I am a professional driver (taxi license). I guide and transfer small groups of people (from 1 up to 4 people). As a foodie, I will be able to hint at what to eat. I love taking photos and I know where to stop for the best photo ops. I adore my area, and the experience of traveling with a group that enjoys the same things I do is one of fulfillment and satisfaction. I love reading, the NBA, science, creating websites, watching movies and tv series. There is always something to talk about. I love the Greek way of life and that's what you are going to hear about a lot during our tour, what we do, what we eat, what we like, how we think about a lot of different aspects of everyday life. Join me, discover my area and our way of life! Licensed professional driver (taxi driver's licence) I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments.

Join me for an amazing trip to the stunning Greek countryside areas. Not far from Volos lays the traditional and one of the most beautiful mountain villages, Milies. A picturesque village with an obvious historical past and traditional Pelion architecture. Let's walk the cobble-stoned paths and see old houses, mansions, spring water fountains, and the De Chirico rivet bridge, the only one of its kind in the world which is still in use. Next, we go to Makrinitsa, "The balcony of Pellion". It is a preserved first zone settlement of absolute protection known for its unique view of Volos and the gulf and architecture and the main square which is full of surprises for the visitor. Portaria, a sister village to Makrinitsa, is very traditional but it is well known for the outstanding local food and the beautiful alleys Nature thrives on this tour ideal for those who love nice scenery, walking, and hiking in nature. It is a tour I love to provide since I enjoy following the same route with family and friends.
- We begin preferably in the morning. - We will depart for our amazing trip to the stunning village of Milies. - We will hike towards the train lanes till we get to the De Chirico rivet bridge. The route we follow is more than satisfactory. A waterfall, wild nature, outstanding view, and conclude with a unique bridge! - The main square is ideal for coffee. Sightseeing (old library and church) Makrinitsa - We'll walk to the main square through the traditional houses and shops. Do some sightseeing and enjoy the view. Optional, we can visit the Byzantine museum full of ritual treasures of Makrinitsa. - On the way to Portaria we can hike a little on the path of the Centaurs, a wonderful trail that is going to be a memorable experience. The simplicity of nature at its best! - Portaria - We will walk a little bit to the traditional village of Portaria until we get to a greek restaurant for lunch. The food in Portaria is probably the best in our area. A perfect way to end the day. This tour can be customized!
