Hi, my name is Nicolas, and I would be very happy to show you the place I live, this beautiful island, Mykonos. As a kid I had a thing for languages, and after I graduated from high school I developed an interest in history. It was only a matter of time for me to combine those two with the love of my country, and the will to show it to my foreign friends. That's how I became a tour guide. Although I have in the past guided people all over Greece, the last 20 years I live and work exclusively in Mykonos, from where I also conduct tours to Delos (the Greek Pompeii). I can work very well with children, making the tour very exciting for them. But, of course, I can cater for all kinds of people, and I can, if needed, custom tailor any of my tours to your needs, or your special interests. My hobbies include photography, music, cinema, wine and dine, and writing: I have written and published books, most of them on ancient Greece. So, do come to Mykonos, to discover all its beauties and the friendliness of its people. I have a valid guiding license, issued by the Greek Tourist Organization. My studies include 4 academic degrees: -Political Sciences, Panteion University, Athens -French Literature, National University, Athens -Lettres Modernes, Sorbonne University, Paris-IV -Master in European History, Neapolis University, Paphos No restrictions

We start by visiting the island's lighthouse at the northernmost tip of Mykonos, for the dramatic view of the surrounding islands. From there we drive to Ano Mera, the second largest settlement of the Island, to visit a 17th century old monastery. Now comes the time for wine tasting at the VIOMA organic farm. From there I'll take you to a vantage point for the best panoramic pictures of Mykonos Town. Finally, we'll do a walking tour of the Old town, to see its monuments and landmarks: the Windmills, Little Venice, Paraportiani church, the waterfront, the Town Hall, the fish market, the monument of Lady Mando (the local heroine), the shopping district, and more. *Not recommended for people with walking difficulties, or people on a wheelchair. **Not suitable for vegans ***Children must be over 18 y. o.
