Historic South Karpathos Tour

Meet your guide at your hotel in the morning and prepare to be amazed with a drive through the center of Karpathos and the villages on the South side of the island. Start your day in Pigadia and visit the ancient Agia Fotini before driving up to Menetes village. Make a stop at the church square for a scenic photo moment and explore the area around the tallest statue Karpathos has. A tiny chapel with an egg shell shaped dome is off the track but can’t be skipped as this tiny yet sacred place is also worth a visit before reaching Arkassa. Time stood still in Arkassa where we can walk around near the mosaic floor on the historic site of Arkesia; one of the 4 ancient cities of Karpathos’ Tetrapolis. Stroll a bit through the quiet yet colourful streets of Pyles before heading towards Othos; the highest village of Karpathos. Enjoy a cozy Greek lunch at a traditional Greek tavern for great Karpathian food before we drive through Volada and Aperi and head back to bring you to your accommodation.
