Servus and welcome to Bavaria! My name is Stefanie – a born-and-raised Münchner Kindl – and I'd love to take you hiking in the Bavarian Alps. Munich sits right on the doorstep of the mountains, so this is your chance to treat yourself to one of my hand-selected hiking tours with unforgettable views and authentic food. You have never hiked in the mountains before? No problem. I have a range of tours for every fitness level. You are more of a pro already? Let me know and we will work out a more challenging hike. Either way, let me worry about tedious tour and itinerary planning, weather conditions, good views and food. As a trained hiking guide, I know plenty of paths off the beaten track that are accessible even for beginners. And with an MA in Language, Cultural and Business Studies (obtained in Germany, Scotland and France), I've accumulated a healthy mix of useful (and useless ;-)) knowledge about Alpine culture and regional history which I share on my tours. The Alps are dear to me, and protecting them matters. That's why I rely on public transport wherever possible. However, I am also happy to arrange a private driver for a more exclusive trip. I look forward to sharing an unforgettable day in the mountains with you soon! Stefanie Qualifications: - Mountain Hiking Guide (Bergwanderleiterin / Trainer C) - MA in Language, Cultural and Business Studies - BA Hons in International Management and Intercultural Studies - I am not a licensed driver. Therefore, all my listed tours are conducted by train. However, I am happy to accompany you in your own vehicle or I can arrange for a vehicle and driver.

Hike like a local on this circuit tour that takes us through the historic centre of Garmisch and up the slopes for amazing vistas of Karwendel- and Wettersteingebirge. Enjoy a delicious traditional Bavarian lunch (and maybe a cold local beer) at a historic chalet with a view. Let me take you off the beaten track and where the locals go. My motto: relaxed hiking, stunning views, authentic food. And of course, I will treat you to some precious info on the culture of the region, anecdotes, legends, and the geology of the mountains. This tour can also be arranged as a public or private transportation tour from Munich. Please get in touch for more details. Available from mid-April to the end of October.
