Our tour guide Moustafa O. was the perfect person to spend our day with in Giza. From pick up at the cruise port in Alexandria to our return twelve hours later he provided us with the history and background - and many interesting facts - of all we were experiencing as we viewed the pyramids and the sphinx and toured the Grand Egyptian Museum. His knowledge is amazing and his personality is wonderful. It is obvious he cares deeply about his tour participants. His goal of sharing his extensive knowledge and love of his country and customs is evident in all he does. We are so pleased to have had him as our guide !

A group of 8 of us did a private Giza excursion from Port Alexandria with Moustafa. Because we had limited time due to our cruise ship’s itinerary, it was a very long and fast-paced day of sightseeing. But, Moustafa made it a wonderful experience. He had arranged a van and a driver for us. He took us to see all the highlights in Giza. Our tour even included a short camel ride. Moustafa provided us with a lot of historical information. Since he is an Egyptologist / archaeologist by profession, he also pointed out the new recent discoveries of artifacts around the pyramid site. We, by choice, had skipped lunch that day because of our time constraint. So, before our long car ride back to the port, Moustafa made a quick stop at a local kebab shop, picked up some gyros for us to enjoy in the car.

Moustafa is not just a tour gid but and archeologist-historian! We spent an incredible day traveling from Alexandria to Giza and back to cruise ship. Wonderful memories will stay with us to the rest of our lives. Thank you, Moustafa!

I would highly recommend Moustafa. He was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable about each of the sites we visited. His passion and interest in the subject was contagious. He was very flexible and with less than a days notice he changed the entire itinerary to accommodate us. Everyone that visits Egypt should ask for Moustafa to be their guide. I can't say enough good things about him. He truly loves his job and we had the best time and learned a lot in the process. He was friendly and professional.
