Your walking tour will begin at a designated meeting point in the heart of Alexandria. In this tour, you will stroll through the bustling streets and markets, immersing yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the city. Start your visit with the library of Alexandria; the biggest library in the world –Visit its open court where you can see the statue of Alexander the Great and the statue of Ptolemy the first, which was found underwater nearby. Visit its attached museums & galleries Walk from there towards the hectic city center, passing by old Baroque & Rococo design buildings. Also a quick visit to the biggest coptic Cathedral in downtown if interested. Continue your tour by passing through the oldest market area in Mansheya and see the traditional womens' markets (zan'et etsetat) with very thin and narrow streets, where locals shop their daily needs. You can also shop for your needs like locals do at reasonable prices. A stop for the biggest mosque & view of the old harbour.
