This is the main archaeological site of Ecuador, located 70 km north of Cuenca. Along the way we can enjoy wonderful views of mountains landscapes and we will visit the basilica of Biblian which is a church that was built in a mountain and the rear wall is the mountain itself. Once we get to ingapirca we will walk thru the ruins and learn about the Incas civilization, culture, architecture, etc. Also we'll learn about the "Cañaris" who were the native inhabitants of this area. After the visit of the ruins, we'll have a typical lunch in a local restaurant, then return to Cuenca Returning time 4 pm approximately.
