Yunguilla it's one of the most amazing places to go birdwatching in Ecuador, here we'll find birds like Violet Throated Sunangel (endemic) Pacific Pygmy Owl, Red Crested Cotinga, and more. Only 30 minutes drive south west from Cuenca we find this spectacular valley, here we spend about 6 hours birdwatching in different native mountain forest. Here we go to tree different location to find different birds.

Itinerary: -06:00. - Pick up -06:15. - We star birding in one of the Cuenca's parks for about one hour -07:15. - Drive to Yunguilla Valley -08:00. - Arrive to montana cloud rorest, here we spend about 3 hours -11:00. - Lunch in a little restaurant in Giron -12:00. - Drive to the third location (sewage system), there we spend about 2 to 3 hours birding -15:00. - Drive back to Cuenca -16:00. - Arrive to Cuenca (approximately)
