Let's enjoy a wonderful birding experience at Cajas National Park, located only 30 minutes drive from the city of Cuenca, there we can spot birds like: Violet Throated Metaltail, Mask Trogon, Gray-breasted Mountain Toucan.
Your Cuenca tour itinerary
Pick up 6am (from your hotel) Drive to Cajas National Park lower entrance (Llaviuco area), here we'll spend around 4 hours. Along the way to the next area we'll stop for Lunch break in one of the typical restaurants of the area. Drive to the upper part of Cajas (Illincocha area) here we'll be birding for about 2-3 hours Return to Cuenca 4pm approximately
