Cacao farm and Chocolate factory visit
Overview of your Cuenca tour
During this trip we visit a Cacao plantation and a chocolate factory. The Cacao plantation is own by a local family of the area of Yunguilla Valley which is south west from Cuenca, it takes about one and a half hour drive from Cuenca, during the visit here we'll have the opportunity to learn about the cacao plantation and also we will have the opportunity to taste it the fruit itself, we will walk through the plantation and we will also have the opportunity to taste a variety of citrus fruits that grow along.
Your Cuenca tour itinerary
- Pick up at 9am - Drive for 1.5 hours south west of Cuenca. - Visit the Cacao plantation and degustation of the cacao fruit and other season fruits. - Lunch at a typical restaurant along the way in the drive back to Cuenca. - Back in Cuenca we will visit a chocolate factory, here we will learn how the cacao became chocolate and of course we'll enjoy and tast just made chocolate. - End of tour 4 pm approximately.
