Puntarenas-Monteverde Cloud Forest

Henry was great at communicating leading up to the tour. He coordinated a full day of activities for us. He stayed with my 10 year old, when he decided he was too scared to go, while the rest of our family zip lined. He is an amazing nature guide and wildlife spotter. Among other wildlife, Henry helped us spot not one but TWO resplendent Quetzal. Some Costa Ricans spend their whole lives looking to get a glimpse of this elusive bird. We were very lucky to have Henry with us. Highly recommend!

Henry and his brother Denny— our driver— were outstanding. They worked as a great team to find the animals and plants that we would really like to see. It was a long 12 hour day, but we enjoyed every single minute with these two wonderful people.

Henry arranged a marvelous tour for our group. He picked us up at the cruise port and our first stop was the El Toledo coffee farm El Aguacate mountains. First, I must say the drive was beautiful to get to the coffee Farm. Once we got there, it was a marvelous experience. We have had several different coffee tours in different countries but this was by far the most informative and descriptive, which included a blind taste experience. And it also helped that the coffee was delicious. Henry then took us to the house of a local family for a traditional costarican lunch. The food was absolutely marvelous. Henry is incredibly knowledgeable about Costa Rica. He was informative and just a pleasure to be with on our tour. He also had a great driver who was a lot of fun as well. Henry has so many other tours that I wish we would have had time to experience.

Henry is such a great and knowledgeable guide. We hiked in Curi Cancha and saw so many birds and wildlife. We were very happy to add the lifer Resplendent Quetzal to our birding list. We also saw toucans, coatis, a sloth and enjoyed a great hiking experience. Make sure you are in good shape! Thanks Henry!

Henry was a great guide. Very knowledgable the flora and fauna of Costa Rica. He had great stories and personal insights during our 2 day trip. He was also very flexible with our plans and adjusted for both our interests and the weather.

Had a wonderful time on this tour. Got a see a great number of birds including several quetzals. I am a slow walker and sometime guides will go much faster than I can handle. Henry was great about letting me go at my pace and giving me time to rest when I needed it.
