Overview of your Hong kong tour:

Hong Kong has some of the safest and best cycle routes a bit further away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I live in Tai Wai, so this area is my neighbourhood! It is now so easy to access too since the East Rail line now extends directly to Hong Kong Island. I will be your personal guide to take you out and about in the New Territories along the Shing Mun River, with stops at the Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Tsang Tai Uk and Tai Po Railway Museum and Tai Po market. This is a perfect shorter tour if you have an morning or afternoon free and want to see more of Hong Kong. Tours are 4-5 hours and it is best to start early, but can vary to suit you. Bike hire is included.

Your Hong kong tour itinerary

For 4-5 hours we can take a leisurely cycle from the home of cycling in the New Territories, Tai Wai, to the pretty market town of Tai Po. Starting in Tai Wai, you will be provided with a bike and meander through the cultural and heritage sites of Man Fat Tsz, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Hong Kong Science Park, Tai Po Market and Tai Po Waterfront Park, Sam Mun Tsai and Tai Mei Tuk. It will be at a leisurely cycling pace on flat routes. Please bring plenty of water, although we are able to stop en route. Optional food stop at Tai Po Market cooked food centre or noodles from a local fisherman's home in Sam Mjm Tsai. Happy to liaise with you for your optimal cycling experience.
