Animal Planet Discovery 1/2 Day Tour

Enjoy a low-impact wildlife and scenery tour through the breathtaking landscapes of Banff or Jasper National Parks, guided by me — a documentary filmmaker with experience working on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel. Together we’ll search for black bears, wolves, elk, moose, and grizzly bears in their natural habitats, visiting carefully chosen locations I use for wildlife filming to increase our chances of meaningful sightings. While wildlife is the focus, the real reward is the journey itself — towering peaks, alpine valleys, rivers, and some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the world. With guidance on photography and timing, you’ll leave with unforgettable images and an even deeper connection to the wild beauty of the Rockies.

****limited mobility required. ***note all wildlife sightings will be from the safety of the vehicle. -Starting from either Banff, Jasper or Calgary, we'll embark on our tour during the golden hours of dawn or dusk, when wildlife is most active. -We'd then proceed to dive into either Banff National Park, Jasper National Park according to your preference. -As we go, I'll share my knowledge and expertise on wildlife behaviour, habitat & conservation, providing a deeper understanding of the species we encounter. -Regardless of the National Park we decide to explore, we'd drive across berry-filled areas for chances of spotting black bears, as well as wetlands and forests for chances of spotting moose.
