Wild National Parks Geographic Explorer - 1/2 Day Tour

I had very specific needs for my family due to my dad’s medical needs. There was a very strong chance this could be a once in a lifetime trip for him, so I wanted to make sure he could see and do things he wanted to at his own pace, since he’s extremely limited with his mobility. I reached out to Eppo to explain the nuances of our situation and had great, in depth discussions where he really got to understand what I was hoping for and the issues that may pop up. Well Eppo absolutely knocked it out of the park for my family!! We all loved our entire trip, start to finish! He was so kind and so patient with my dad and how long it would take him to be able to do things. Eppo was a wealth of fun and interesting knowledge that actually got us all asking questions when we usually tend to be mostly just listeners. He was very engaging. I warned him from the start that my dad is likely to fall asleep from time to time and not to take it personally, but Eppo managed to keep my dad awake for almost the entire time! I couldn’t believe it! He also switched our tour up continuously throughout the day to give us the best chances to find wildlife, so we weren’t stuck to the agenda. He wanted us to have the best experience possible and went miles to deliver that. If you want a guide that is knowledgeable, engaging, interested in getting to know you and your party, and someone who wants to share the beauty of the region he calls home, I can’t possibly recommend him highly enough. We’ll be seeking him out the next time we’re back in the area. 10/10

When I set out to book a private tour, I had expectations of what we would do and see. Little did I know, our family had those expectations exceeded and in the process we gained a friend. Eppo is so knowledgeable and entertaining. We all loved our hunt to spy animals, great history of the surrounding areas, and the excitement when we came across a large moose that wandered next to our car. Eppo is such a good guy, we never had breaks in conversation and we learned so much. We never felt like we were watching a clock, only what adventure we could find next. I chose a private tour so that we could freely ask questions and go to out of the way locations in our journey to spot animals. Eppo, is from this area and his experiences made all the difference. He also has experience in the film industry as well as television such as Animal Planet. He knows how to capture the animals on camera and gave us tips on how to spot bear and be safe while doing it. We all are in agreement, this was the highlight of our time in Banff. I highly recommend Eppo as your guide if you want to be relaxed and entertained. I cannot wait to come back to Banff and spend more time with Eppo.

We had an amazing experience on our tour through the Canadian Rockies. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, from the wildlife we were lucky enough to see, to the history of Canada and how it shaped the region. He made the journey engaging and informative without ever feeling rushed. We saw so many animals up close, which was a real highlight of the trip. On top of that, he was very friendly, genuine, and easy to get along with – you could tell he truly cared about making the experience special. For the price, the tour was excellent value for money. I’d highly recommend this guide to anyone wanting a memorable and authentic Canadian Rockies adventure.
