Private Tour to Costa da Lagoa: A Natural Paradise

On this tour, we could either hike a scenic 7 km trail through lush Atlantic Forest on a moderate-level path leading to the charming village of Costa da Lagoa, or we could alternatively sail towards it too. On the one hand, the trail presents natural streams & cascades, as well as many beautiful viewpoints of Lagoa da Conceição. On the other hand, the scenic boat ride is a very relaxing way to take in our surroundings. Throughout the tour I’ll share stories about the area and some of the traditional activities that take place in it. Although we could indeed sail to and from Costa da Lagoa, I must say that my personal preference is to do one way hiking and the other one across the water, so as to get 2 different, complementary perspectives of this beautiful area. And if your appetite opened up while hiking or you simply wanted to experience a Florianópolis-style lunch, the village is known by its amazing seafood. -We'll start our tour from a small pier in Lagoa da Conceição at Canto dos Araçás. -From there, we could either set sail across the lagoon or hike a 7 km moderate trail through the Atlantic Forest. If you decide to hike, I could take you to a hidden cascade and to Casarão da Dona Loquinha, an 18th-century house & former flour mill, a true piece of local history. -Finally, we'd reach the charming village of Costa da Lagoa, where you could choose to delight yourself with a traditional at a local venue (vegetarian options available too). -At last, we'd take a relaxing boat ride back to Canto dos Araçás. across the lagoon, ending right at Dock 3, the place where we started from.
