It was a joy to spend the day with Danielle! She met us at our hotel in Brussels and traveled by train with us to midevil Ghent. We had a delightful day! Danielle is a very knowledgeable and personable guide. We learned a lot about the history of Ghent and the current events in Belgium. One thing I particularly enjoyed is that Danielle would point out symbols or architectural details of particular buildings that we never would have noticed on our own. We took a coffee/ hot chocolate break, and the proprietor made me a mocha (half coffee, half chocolate) that is not a typical Belgium drink. It was excellent! Her restaurant recommendation also was good.

Danielle was a fantastic guide. Due to concerns that we would not be able to get a train back from Ghent, we wound up going to Antwerp instead. I simply loved Antwerp. Danielle was so knowledgeable and fun. She adjusted the tour to my interests which was pretty much to experience as much as possible. I know I saw more in a few hours with Danielle than I would have seen in an entire day with most guides. I highly recommend her tours!
