Travel has been my passion and occupation for the last 30 years. After finishing school, I embarked on a trip to Europe and the travel bug bit me hard. On returning home, I gave up my university entry to study languages and instead joined the national airline. When it was time to be a mum, I opened my own travel agency, which I successfully operated for 20 years. I did many travel courses and lots of travel too! Now I am an authorised driver guide in the beautiful city of Sydney. For me travel is an experience to be savoured by all your senses. I want my visitors to get a strong sense of what it is like to live and play in this harbour city and so besides visiting the icons, we venture to magnificent harbour parks, where locals hang out so often you can get to engage with them. I love the blend of cultures and traditions in Sydney and in celebration of that, I offer a Jewish Heritage Tour of Sydney. Travel is an experience to be savoured so the fragrant memory of a special day lingers on.

Perfect for people with limited time, this tour whisks you around, taking in the highlights of the city and its beaches, first by foot and then from the comfort of a private car. We start by traveling back in time through Sydney's colonial past in The Rocks. Walking through Circular Quay to the famed Opera House, we'll pass time in the Royal Botanic Gardens to the vantage point of vantage points - Mrs Macquarie's Chair. Escaping the humidity, we'll drive on to Bondi - Sydney's closest stretch of sand and water, and finally to Darling Harbour - a waterfront leisure precinct that throbs with activity day and night. This is the abridged way to take in as much city and harbour as possible!

Darryl was very invested in making sure that everything was proceeding well after the initial booking. Once the tour date approached, she reached out to verify time and place to meet. The morning of the tour she reconfirmed all info. Upon picking us up, she laid out our itinerary and asked what we wanted. Darryl focused on the different neighborhoods and lesser known sights and gave us a sense of what it would be like to actually live in Sydney. She is very knowledgeable and, as important, it is very easy to spend the day with her. Also, a great choice for lunch that we would not have found.
