Hi, and welcome to Sydney. I've lived in this city all my life. A foodie and a beach bum, I've surfed, swum, eaten, drunk, driven, walked and cycled this city from corner to corner. I opened a private tour business in 2012, in response to interest from local and overseas friends and a desire to show people the 'real Sydney', the Sydney I love to call home. I'm proud of my city, and enjoy showing it off to visitors I operate not only within the metropolitan area, but also up to about 3 hours drive outside this area - to the mountains, the national parks, regional areas, country towns, wineries and remote beaches. There's a wealth of beauty in and around this part of the world. It's safe, clean, friendly and most all, fun I've traveled extensively in the USA, Canada and many parts of East Asia such as Japan and Thailand, as well as Europe, some of New Zealand and most of the Australian continent. It's likely I've already been to your town, or somewhere nearby, and this helps me to discover what it is you may be seeking on your visit to Sydney. Thank you Peter for a fantastic day starting with an early morning visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park to see the Koalas, kangaroos, beautiful birds, wombats, quolls, dingos and an awake Tasmanian devil. Then onto a tour of Sydney highlights, neighborhoods and beaches with lunch at the new Sydney fish market. Peter tailored our tour to fit some mobility challenges and shopping request which we really appreciated!
Peter is a wonderful driver/guide who really knows the ins and outs of his home city. We enjoyed spending the day with him and seeing the wildlife facility and then exploring the nooks and crannies of Sydney's neighborhoods. Peter knows how to beat the crowds and takes you to spots that others don't get to see. On top of that, he is a great guy and a pleasure to spend the day with. We spent two full days with him and are very glad we did. If you want to really explore Sydney and only have a few days, Peter is definitely the guide for you.
We enjoyed our day long tour including Sydney highlights and Featherdale Zoo. Peter met us at hotel and took us to zoo in time for feeding hungry wallabies and kangaroos! Such fun! He took us to all the popular views, beaches, and neighborhoods. We could have never seen so much or learned so much by ourselves. Thank you Peter!
We loved this tour and found it to be a perfect way to see the highlights of the city in one day. As for Peter himself - he is just an absolute delight and it was clear at every turn how excited he was to share his love for Sydney with others. *Pick up from agreed location *We begin early at the wildlife park to get up close and personal with kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, wombats, dingoes, echidnas, emus, cassowaries, Tasmanian devils, a saltwater crocodile and many other Australian natives *Then on to Mrs Macquarie's Chair for a spectacular view of Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge *Around through the fashionable enclaves of Woolloomooloo and Potts Point, and the red-light strip of Kings Cross *See the posh homes in Darling Point, the upscale shopping precinct of Double Bay, then out to Bondi Beach *Take the Bondi Coastwalk if you wish, then back through Centennial Park, into the groovy neighbourhoods of Paddington, Darlinghurst, and Surry Hills *Through Chinatown, Darling Harbour and The Rocks *Across Sydney Harbour Bridge to Kirribilli for lunch *Then on to Middle Harbour and The Spit *Take in some of the Spit to Manly Walk *Then back to your agreed meeting point, or you have the option of taking the Manly Ferry back
