It's a pleasure to connect with you through ToursByLocals. As a certified NSW National Parks EcoPass guide, I specialise in showcasing Sydney's natural beauty. From the Northern Beaches to the Blue Mountains, I offer tailored tours that immerse you in the landscapes and wildlife of our stunning region, whilst escaping the crowds from the bus tours. As a Sydney local I know the secret spots and lookouts that us locals like to keep secret, but I love to share them with our visitors. Beyond guiding, I work as a volunteer wildlife rescuer for WIRES, Australia's largest wildlife rescue organization. This allows me to share fascinating insights about our native animals and marine life during our tours. When I'm not on tour, I bring over a decade of experience in the travel and tourism industry, including a tenure at Tourism Australia. I also work as a sustainable tourism trainer, helping businesses and individuals adopt environmentally responsible practices. For your comfort and safety, I provide two vehicles: a luxury Toyota Landcruiser Prado and a VW Caravelle for larger groups, accommodating 1 to 8 guests on private tours. Looking forward to sharing the wonders of Sydney with you! My Tourism Qualifications: First Aid/CPR Qualified NSW National Park Eco Pass Guide NSW Government Point to Point tourism licence holder, ensuring you are being driven in safe hands. Come on a journey through the Northern Beaches of Sydney with me and discover the serene spots that us locals adore. Begin with a pick-up by me, from your accommodation in Sydney City or Manly, and be taken by private vehicle to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Here I will take you to some spectacular sights, spot littoral rainforest, secluded bays, and cultural sights. Enjoy a short walk, which can be tailored to your ability, and breathe in the clean air of this stunning National Park. Wildflowers, wallabies, and native birds can be spotted among the unique flora of this National Park. Even gentle walking makes us hungry, so off we go down to picturesque Church Point, where you can enjoy lunch (paid locally) at The Basin restaurant in Mona Vale or Newport Arms, both have beautiful ocean views. The Basin is fine dining Australian and Newport Arms is a casual restaurant, enjoy fresh seafood, pizzas & others. Explore the ocean road towards North Curl Curl and onto some spectacular views above Manly.
Times below are flexible: 8. 30am Pick up from Sydney CBD, North Sydney, or Northern Beaches. 9 am - Arrive at Ku-ring-Gai Chase National Park and begin a scenic drive that feels miles away from the city. 9. 30am - Embark on a hike to suit your ability, and enjoy the Littoral rainforest, wallabies, bird life, and native flowers whilst enjoying fantastic views of the ocean. Ancient Aboriginal rock paintings and sights can also be explored. 11. 30am - depart National Park for a scenic drive into Church Point 12 pm - Enjoy lunch at Pasadena, overlooking the stunning Pittwater Bay. 1. 30pm - We will continue our drive to North Curl Curl Headland 2 pm - Enjoy a short walk to a viewing platform over the sparkling Pacific Ocean, keep your eyes peeled for dolphins and migrating whales. 3pm - Arrive at Manly Wharf where you say goodbye to me, hop on the scenic ferry back to the city. If you do not wish to take the ferry back, I can customise the tour to include drop off at your accomodation.
