I love this neighborhood because it not only is the oldest neighborhood in Seattle (it began with the Denny Party’s arrival at Alki Point in 1851), but it includes a mini Statue of Liberty, a long, beautiful walkable beach, a lighthouse, a park with a hidden troll, amazing bakeries, and ice cream, the best restaurant view in the city, a water taxi and more. It's perfect for adults and families alike. This is the quintessential Seattle neighborhood, my favorite, and a great way to experience our beautiful city. In the summer months, you’ll even have a chance to rent a SUP or Kayak and get into Puget Sound. 

Seattle's Very Best Neighborhood Half Day Tour - avoid the crowds (great for all visitors, including Cruise Shore X)

Allow me to take you to my absolute favorite Seattle sites. I've lived here nearly my whole life and I truly believe these are THE BEST in-city places to go if you only have half a day to tour. I've been to all of them many times because I love them as a local. You will too when I take you to my favorite places in the Pike Place Market and tell you about my personal history with this fascinating place. We'll drive through some of the beautiful Seattle neighborhoods, including Queen Anne, Lake Union, Fremont and potentially visit the Ballard Locks, the junction of two local bodies of water where boats are able to move from Puget Sound to Lake Washington, despite the fact that the water is at different levels between the two. We'll end the tour at the one and only Chihuly Glass Museum. Let me show you my city, as I would my best friends and family members. 

Uniquely Seattle Half Day Tour (for everyone, including Cruise Shore X)

Let me to take you to my favorite Seattle sites - THE BEST in-city places to go when visiting our beautiful city with your family. 

We’ll tour the Pike Place Market, where you’ll enjoy my favorite spots that will include some delicious snacks. We’ll walk to the Seattle waterfront and learn about our Native heritage. You'll have the opportunity to ride the Great Wheel and Wings Over Washington. We’ll drive to West Seattle, visit a park for a short hike through our Temperate Rain Forest, walk on the beach, and search for a large wooden Troll. We eat lunch at my favorite restaurant with the best Seattle view and see what it's like to fish from a pier here in Seattle. Then we’ll drive to the Ballard Locks to watch boats go on a "water elevator" from the lake to Puget Sound. We’ll return to downtown Seattle; I’ll drop you off at the Space Needle and Chihuly Glass Museum, which you can tour on your own. On this special day, I’ll show you my city as I would my best friends and family members.
