My name is Anthony. I was raised in Kent and, after spending my early years walking and cycling around this beautiful county and exploring its country lanes and coastline, know the area intimately. I am also an expert in History. I went to University where I took three degrees including a PhD from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. It was here that I fulfilled a life-long love of this subject but also the recognition that I wanted to spend my time doing something inspirational, meaningful and fulfilling. For me, being a guide for small private groups is all those. How else can you share knowledge of Britain’s most significant and impactful history with like-minded people? How often can you explore those special places off the well-trodden tourist track that satisfies our curiosity and desire for authenticity? How else can you return home at the end of the day feeling that you have had the most memorable day with people that you could call friends?

Anthony was the most knowledgeable tour guide I have had the privilege of meeting. He went above and beyond in teaching us history and explaining the sites. He introduced us to a English pub for lunch and was a pleasure to spend a day touring with.

Anthony was a wonderful guide for the day. Extremely knowledgeable of the history everywhere we went including minute details. Very good driver. Very pleasant and communicative. Tour included driving thru the countryside with a few stops so we could get a real feel for Kent. Highly recommend without reservation.

Anthony was a fantastic guide for the day.
