¡Hola! My passion is travelling and nature and contact with people all over the world. Originally I am German but my studies in tourism helped me to work in Spain and I felt in love with Tenerife and arrived in 1999 on this beautiful island. My favourite tours are walking and hiking tours in the different Natural Parks of Tenerife and to the top of Teide. I would be pleased to show you the green corners of this mini continent, nature, flora & fauna off the beaten paths. If you are interested in the local history and culture I can show you the historic places on a walking tour. We will also have time to try the Canarian cuisine as well with a nice glass of wine. My aim is to support small local businesses and people I know for over 20 years. Leaving the bus or car behind and especially hiking you get to know the hidden secrets of this fantastic island. We had a fantastic tour with Steffi as part of a cruise ship stop. The trip to the National Park and Mt. Teide was phenomenal. The scenery was incredible. It was wonderful having private transportation and the opportunity to stop when desired for fantastic photos. While I can't report on Teide National Park, I can report on Tenerife. When we met our tour guide Steffi, we told her we were more interested in learning about Tenerife than visiting the National Park, but the tour we wanted was sold out. No problem.
