Hello! I'm Miguel Ángel M. , and I hail from the captivating shores of Lake Titikaka, where I've spent nearly my entire life immersed in its beauty and culture. Join me on an unforgettable journey across the highest lake in the world as we delve into the rich tapestry of our Inca and pre-Inca heritage, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and thrilling adventures. Ensuring your well-being, as well as that of my community, is paramount to me. I've meticulously implemented all COVID-19 biosecurity protocols across the transportation, boats, minivans, restaurants, and lodges that I collaborate with, ensuring your safety during our exploration. As a seasoned professional tour guide native to the Andes and this remarkable lake, I am dedicated to providing you with an authentic and immersive experience. Together, we'll discover the wonders of Lake Titikaka, delving into our culture, traditions, and engaging in enriching cultural activities. From agriculture to textile art, and savoring our traditional cuisine sourced from our terraced crops, every moment promises to be a true reflection of our vibrant heritage. Fluent in both Quechua and Aymara, the native languages of these cultures, I facilitate meaningful interactions with indigenous communities, fostering a deeper understanding of our shared history. It's here, amidst the origins of the Inca civilization and countless other ancient cultures, where my passion for guiding blossomed over more than 13 years of experience. Crafting personalized itineraries tailored to your preferences and expectations, we'll embark on a journey to iconic sites such as the Uros floating islands, the unique cultures of Taquile and Amantani islands, the picturesque peninsulas of Llachon and Luquina, the awe-inspiring Sillustani necropolis, and the bustling city of Puno, the heart of the lake. With accommodations in authentic family homes and indulging in tantalizing Andean cuisine, our adventure will be nothing short of unforgettable. Beyond my professional pursuits, I've dedicated over 12 years to this industry, starting from my role as an assistant in tour operations to eventually becoming a tour guide—the role I cherish the most. Specializing in cultural experiences, I find joy in dance, sports, and connecting with people from around the globe. If you're ready to embark on a journey of discovery unlike any other, don't hesitate to reach out. Miguel was the best guide we had during the entire visit to Peru. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and engaging. He speaks the indigenous languages of the area , so was able to communicate with locals and give us a more "insider" view of life in the region. I highly recommend him!
