Guide #8740
Moving to Jasper 33 years ago as the figure skating coach completely changed my life. I fell in love immediately with the park and it's unbelievable beauty and magnificent nature. I dreamed of being a hiking guide as soon as I heard that there was such a profession. I made that dream come true 28 years ago when I became a Certified Hiking Guide with the Association of Canadian Mountains Guides. I have travelled the planet for hiking and climbing and have been on trekking adventures to Nepal 7 times. I have climbed in China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Laos, India, Indonsia, Australia, Kenya, South Africa, Morroco, Ethiopia, Spain, Greece, Cuba, Colombia Peru, Argentina, United States and Jordon! I still find the Canadian Rockies very magical. I have guided many travelers from all over the world sharing my passion and knowledge of all the pure spaces that I have discovered. I believe that the pure spaces of nature are very powerful and that connecting with these spaces can be very nourishing for the soul. I always allow time for my guests sit in silence and really connect with themselves and the pristine places we explore. I believe in the importance of "leave no trace" practices in nature. I am always fostering an appreciation and understanding of ecosystems and the interconnectedness of all living beings. Being a Certified Yoga Teacher and meditation practitioner allows me to bring the body, mind, and spirit aspect to your hike if desired. August 2026Thank you David! I really enjoyed our conversations and that beautiful day in nature!
Guide was knowledgeable and energetic. We did a 2 day tour, the first day being a hike in the Bow Lake area and the second day being a road trip with sightseeing from Lake Louise to Jasper and visiting the Columbia Ice Fields. We had two issues here: On our hike, the guide didn't tell us that we were starting on a 3 hour hike and it seemed we were just going out for a...

August 2026I went through our messages and I can see where the misunderstandings came from. In your messages you said your family was up for a 3 hour hike. I had asked at the beginning of the tour if you had snacks so I assumed you would bring them hiking. After 30 minutes into the hike I realized that you had the impression it was a shorter hike. When I realized you had...
What a lovely lady Terri is, we had a lovely relaxed , enjoyable and informative day. We saw eagles, osprey , deer and elk but unfortunately no bears , we did however have a thoroughly good day.

May 2026Thank you Karl and Angela! It was so much fun! Thanks for all your travel stories, they were extremely inspiring and I now want to read "Mutiny of the Bounty"! Enjoy the rests of your Canadian chapter and the many chapters around the world, yet to come!
We can’t say enough wonderful things about Terri. She arrived on time and was gracious throughout. She was tremendously knowledgeable about the sites and made great recommendations on where to go to avoid the crowds. We found her insights based on 30 years in these mountains fascinating. We think you will have a great time in any of the trips you want to make in the...

October 2025Thank you for your beautiful praises! It was an honor to guide you and John. I loved how everytime you said, "no pressure", animals appeared! I am touched that John was moved to tears in seeing the 60+ bighorn sheep conventional! That was really special even for me a local but the fact that John felt the divineness of this experience touches me even more. I have...
