Hi there!

I'm Sam, a Sydney local based in Bondi Beach (and gratefully so). I've been a Sydney tour guide for 15 years and feel very fortunate to have been able to show Sydney and her rural neighbours to so many wonderful people from around the world. From solo travellers and families to celebrities and corporate groups, I've created 1000's of memorable experiences for visitors since I began operating (I'm new to ToursByLocals though).

Although I grew up in Sydney, I spent 8 years living abroad as a working traveller in Italy, Spain, France, the UK and Canada. It's where my passion for tourism was born and a love for meeting people from all over the globe. When I returned to Sydney I was drawn to the opportunity to give travellers to my home city, similar fun and interesting experiences I had valued so much on my own adventures.

I guide my guests like I would guide my own friends, with a friendly laid back style (very Australian in nature) that packs a lot in without you feeling rushed or overwhelmed. With plenty of flexibility to meet your personal interests and preferences, no two tours are the same. 

I have a special interest in Australian wildlife, The Hunter Valley wine region and Port Stephens.

From Sydney half and full day tours to a day trip to the Blue Mountains or Southern Highlands, there is so much to see and do here. It's also lovely to be able to show my guests parts of Sydney most visitors miss when they visit.

Consider an overnight experience! Staying overnight in the Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens or Southern Highlands allows you enjoy these regions in depth and take part in unique experiences not available on day trips. Go truffle hunting in the Blue Mountains, ride camels on the largest sand dunes in the southern hemisphere, enjoy an astronomer guided star gazing experience or if you need a plan B, tour an apery in the Southern Highlands! A multi-day experience will really be a trip highlight. 

I can also create fun day outs for families with children of all ages. Incorporating child friendly activities into a day that also allows the parents to do something they love too results in a fun day out for everyone! Something I often do with my own 2 and 6 year old.

This is a 3 day package for 4 Adults and 1 child.

June 9th: Sydney 5 hours tour
     * 9am-1pm starting from Sydney Airport, finishing at the Hotel
June 10th: The Hunter Valley
     * 8am -6pm 
June 11th: The Blue Mountains
     * 8am -5pm completing the tour at Sydney Airport 

Tour cost excludes activities and food, which can be paid for on the day of the tour. These include: Scenic World A$65pp ($40child), Wildlife Park with koala experience A$55pp ($40child) and Wine Tasting A$30

Luggage transport included.

3 Days of Tours

A day trip to the Central Coast area just north of Sydney, departing at 8am, returning at approx 2pm with a focus on animals, scenery and food.

Central Coast Tour

This full day out is a wonderful way to experience the Hunter Valley for those visiting from abroad.

From visiting a wildlife sanctuary with a private 'meet a koala' experience to tasting the Hunter Valley's famous Shiraz and Semillon, this diverse day out may also include cheese tasting and a long vineyard lunch.
