Hi there! I'm Sam, a Sydney local based in Bondi Beach (and gratefully so). I've been a Sydney tour guide for 15 years and feel very fortunate to have been able to show Sydney and her rural neighbours to so many wonderful people from around the world. From solo travellers and families to celebrities and corporate groups, I've created 1000's of memorable experiences for visitors since I began operating (I'm new to ToursByLocals though). Although I grew up in Sydney, I spent 8 years living abroad as a working traveller in Italy, Spain, France, the UK and Canada. It's where my passion for tourism was born and a love for meeting people from all over the globe. When I returned to Sydney I was drawn to the opportunity to give travellers to my home city, similar fun and interesting experiences I had valued so much on my own adventures. I guide my guests like I would guide my own friends, with a friendly laid back style (very Australian in nature) that packs a lot in without you feeling rushed or overwhelmed. With plenty of flexibility to meet your personal interests and preferences, no two tours are the same. I have a special interest in Australian wildlife and The Hunter Valley wine region. From Sydney half and full day tours to a day trip to the Blue Mountains or Southern Highlands, there is so much to see and do here. It's also lovely to be able to show my guests parts of Sydney most visitors miss when they visit.
