Discover the 1000 year of history of the seat of the kings and presidents on a private guided tour through 4 interiors.
The Prague Castle, former royal residence, is not simply one palace like in other cities of the world. Here, it is a large complex built in ten centuries by several royal families.
All Czech rulers lived in the Prague castle, in the 9th century princes, then kings, subsequently emperors and in the 20th century it became the main office of the President.
For visiting our Castle you need 3 hours. The huge castle complex is located on the hill, with all gardens around the royal residence it has 45 hectares. You will visit just the most important parts: St. Vitus Cathedral, former Royal palace, St. George's Basilica, and Golden Lane.
As the castle is located on the hill we need to go up, so if your hotel is located nearby, we will walk. If not, we take a tramway or a cab.
First, we visit St. Vitus cathedral, a very important place for the Czech kings. Then we will continue to the Old Royal Palace with its gorgeous main hall. The next visit is in the oldest church in Prague, St. George's Basilica, a pearl of the Romanesque style. The last stop is in the Golden Lane, a very picturesque short street full of artillerymen'houses built in the 16th century.
