Guiding Licenses are required in Costa Rica and tour guides should have the certification of the national Bureau of Tourism.
There is only one association of tours guides recognized by the government and institutions. It is called ACOGUITUR and in most of national parks the rangers ask for the license in order to authorize the operations in the parks. report error
