La Leona Waterfall - Liberia City Tour - Hiking and Swimming - History in Costa Rica

On this tour, I'll take your through a transition forest located 15 km northwest from Liberia city, to the little town of Curubande which hides a wonderful waterfall called La Leona, by Rio Blanco. We'll walk and swim amidst magical blue water natural pools, going river up in a moderated hike, enjoying a place mostly only locals are even aware of. Going across the forest we might spot monkeys, birds , insects and big rock walls along the river, unveiling spots just a local tour guide could show you. I was working in a local eco farm beside the river an know the best way to have fun around it! Besides taking you to the waterfall, we'll visit *The White City* (Liberia) and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Once we've reload energy, I'll take you around the city to visit the most important buildings and historically relevant places. -We'll begin with a morning pickup from your hotel, residence or any place you request. -After that, we'll drive for approximately 1. 5 hours towards Curubande town. -On arrival to Curubande, we'll start the visit by looking around the eco farm where we'll park. -Later, we'll go on a hike through the transition forest for 45-60 mins, heading to La Leona. -Afterwards, we'll go back to the farm to change clothes and enjoy using its facilities. -Next, we'll drive for 30 mins towards to Liberia, where we'll enjoy Costa Rican traditional cuisine in a emblematic city venue. -I'll then take you to explore the city, covering the most important buildings, historical places: -We'll walk along Calle Real, where we'll pass by Puente Real , La copa de oro restaurant (historic building) Espinar family house and Casa Liberia , all the places with a wide history. -We'll proceed to pass by the the hermitage of our lord of agony, the stadium, and Liberia's central park. -At last, we'll go to your lodging.
