Maleku Indigenous Reserve - Cultural Full Day Tour - Guatuso, Alajuela - Costa Rica.

We gonna visit the canton of Guatuso province of Alajuela an indigenous territory where live arroun 600 indigenous people of the Maleku ethnic group . They are working hard to keep alive its culture and traditions, making shows of dances , prays , art and activities that rescue it's culture and shows to the new generations and people how they lived in the past with representations. They will indulge us to participate in the activieties getting involved with this amazing culture that will catch our attention with dresses, tools, art and medicinal plants in a easy and interesting hike by the rainforest native trail. -We'll begin with a morning pickup from your hotel, residence or any place you request. -After that, we'll drive for approximately 30 -45 minutes towards Liberia city. -On arrival to Liberia , we'll start the drive to the Indigenous reserve for approximately 2 hours -Later, we'll go on a hour hike through the rainforest indigenous trail guided by a native to learn about medicinal plants. -Afterwards, we'll participate in a 45 min artisan workshop to create your own souvenir. -Next, we'll enjoy Maleku traditional cuisine for a long hour (lunch). - Malekus dances and rituals show - picture time 40 min. -. Archery experince with traditional arrow bows and indigenous instructor - picture time 20 min. -Use the facilities before leave (15min) - Walk 5 min to visit a maleku home to see the art they produce and the house construction (20 min). -At last, we'll go to your lodging, and on our way, we'd be able to stop at a venue to get snacks, beverages and souvenirs if you want.
