I am a Palestinian Christian licensed tour guide from Bethlehem. I studied and graduated from Dar Alkalima University in tourism studies as a tour guide and I have been working as a Palestinian tour guide since 2012. I became a licensed tour guide by the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism in 2014. I took English studies at Sam Houston State University in Texas. At the same time I started working as a private tour guide I started taking Eco-tourism training and got the wilderness first Aid license. I love Archaeology and history and that's why I started my own studying and my dream is to help write the Palestinian narrative which I'm already represent my people in telling it to the visitors of Palestine. I love travelling and I have taken many trips around Europe and the USA. My favorite trip was walking the Camino de Santiago de Compostela (800 Kilometers). Travelling gave me the experience to start offering stimulating tailor-made tours, customized to suit the interests of my customers. I love Palestine and I believe I am a good Ambassador of my country and I want to encourage people from all over the world to come and hear the Palestinian narrative from the original Palestinians. Combine most of the memorable sites in one day in Bethlehem. Hazem did a wonderful job showing us around Bethlehem and explaining some of the complex political issues Palestinians face. He is an excellent communicator in English and goes out of his way to make sure his clients get the best experience! I would highly recommend Hazem!!
5++ stars! Hazem is very knowledgeable and very sympathic. He brought us to Banksy Museum even if it wasnt part of the tour cause my husband was very interested in it. He brought us to a good local restaurant too. My family was so happy and more than contented and we definitely will take Hazem again. Thank you! Best tourguide ever!
Hazem's tour was a life changing experience for us. The perspective of the Palestine people was expertly given by Hazem. He gave us history, his personal experiences, and even a tour of one of the refugee settlement areas to speak with the locals. We went to the Walled Off Hotel to see Banksy art and the museum that gives a short, but very impactful view of the Palestine experience. We of course went to all the religious locations too. Hazem navigated was an excellent guide. 100% recommended!
Wow, our day with Hazem was unforgettable and we're definitely changed for the better. So touched by his vast knowledge & teaching ability, kind genuine nature and efforts to help us have a true and special experience, being so considerate of our interests & how we spent our limited time there. Enjoyed the Christian sites, BEST falafel with hummus & the olive wood carving process. So humbled witnessing first hand the Palestinian situation. Hazem is an incredible tour guide. I booked his geopolitical tour and was introduced to a comprehensive tour of the reality of life in Bethlehem, including the wall & its art and other less well-known sites such as the Aida refugee camp. Hazem is knowledgeable, responsive, and kind and will answer any question you may have. He also took us to an off-the-beaten-path restaurant with a beautiful view, incredible food, and a story relevant to Bethlehem's political history. I cannot recommend his tours enough.

After meeting you, I will drive you to the entrance of the Old City of Bethlehem where you will walk down Star Street towards the Nativity Church. Inside the church you will visit the Nativity Cave, St. Catherine Church and St. Jerome Cave. After the Nativity Church, you will have an opportunity to view the magnificent panorama view of city of Bethlehem from the top of one of the old houses which is now an olive wood factory. Here you can watch locals craft souvenirs from native olive trees. Then I will walk you to the Milk Grotto to visit the cave where tradition holds that Mary fed Jesus on their way to Egypt. Next you will enjoy a traditional humus and falafel lunch. After lunch, I will drive you to the Shepherd's Field where the angels appeared to the shepherds to witness Jesus' birth. Continuing to walk along the separation wall to watch the graffiti and visit the walled of hotel and museum. later we will walk around Aida refugee camp and learn about the refugees life.
