Meet at Bethlehem 300 Checkpoint Visit Jericho, the lowest and oldest city on earth, and take the cable car up to Mount of Temptation, to the Monastery where the devil tempted Jesus. Also, see a view of the ancient site of Jericho. Visit Hisham's Palace, built during the Umayyad period as a hunting lodge and winter resort. Visit Zacchaeus Sycamore, where according to tradition, Zacchaeus, the tax collector, climbed a tree to get a better look at Jesus. Visit the Shepherds Field where they kept watch of their flocks by night and an angel Gabriel appeared to them. Visit the Church of the Nativity, the site where Jesus was born. Visit the Church of St. Catherine, visit the Chapel of Saint Jerome, where he translated the Bible into Latin, and the Chapel of the Innocents which commemorates the children who Herod killed. Airport: ,Cruise: ,ByGuide: You need to take bus number 234 from the Arab bus station in Damascus Gate (Called Bab el-'Amoud in Arabic) in Jerusalem. This bus goes to Bethlehem 300 Checkpoint as the last station. The bus run almost every 15 minutes and it takes around 30 minutes to arrive to Bethlehem checkpoint. Once you get off the bus, you need to walk through the terminal then cross the apartheid wall to Bethlehem side; it's easy and it takes few minutes to cross. All you have to do is walk through the terminal to Bethlehem side.
