Full Day Natural Sightseeing Haines Alaska Tour

Tom is an absolutely delightful fellow! I would love to go to lunch with just to enjoy the company. The tour itself exceeded our expectations. He not only showed us Fort Seward, but detailed the history of the place in an entertaining and thoughtful way. We saw stunningly beautiful views in out of the way spots, again, with an explanation of how the geology happened. And BEARS, we saw many bears, up close. The town of Haines is small, but the area of Haines is giant. Well worth our visit. Would contact Tom for another tour if a cruise that we are on docks there. Highly ecommend!

Tom was our guide. He texted frequently to ensure we met up smoothly. His vehicle was comfortable and he knows the area intimately. He has lived here for years and loves the community. He was very knowledgable. I would recommend him for anyone coming to Haines.

Many thanks to Tom for a truly memorable experience on Haines. His knowledge of the history, culture, and wildlife in the area was excellent. I also appreciated his photography hints. Our tour took us from one end of the area to the other so that we visited both state parks, and had an in-depth tour of Fort Seward. We were lucky enough to experience our first brown bear sighting, up close and personal, as it crossed from the river into the woods, as well as view mountain goats through a sighting scope. I can highly recommend this tour. As an aside, Tom easily adapted the tour to my capabilities since I am in a wheelchair.

Our guide, Tom, took us on a beautiful hike in Chilkat State Park. The day was sunny and the park filled with beautiful greenery and flowers. Tom is very knowledgable about the plants and wildlife, and basically everything that is Haines. Was a wonderful day off the cruise ship to see the "real" Alaska.

We were given a fabulous tour by Tom covering all geological aspects, beautiful scenery and the history of the area. Nothing was too much trouble and he was the perfect guide. We were sorry when our trip with Tom had come to an end as it was the highlight of our Alaskan cruise.
