This is a sweeping landscape that allows us to step back in time to understand how early travelers including John Muir first arrived at this wilderness. At the head of the Lynn Canal we will review the natural glacial history and geography of the nation's longest and deepest fjord. State Parks: The five-hour tour allows us to visit both Chilkoot and Chilkat State Parks. Chilkoot offers tremendous wildlife opportunities in late summer. Chilkat offers vistas of glaciers, waterfalls and wildflowers.
