Hello, my name is Sue and I would love to welcome you to Asheville and Western North Carolina! This is one of the number 1 destinations in the United States for millions of people annually. With so much to do let me take the confusion out of your stay and introduce you to the jewel of Western North Carolina. I have lived in Asheville for eight years and have been leading tours, for all age groups, the past four years. I have combined my passion for hiking and my fascination with history to create unique tours that you can only experience with a local guide. You will experience the "real" Asheville with my city tours. Here you will find local is important and I will introduce you to local artists and shop owners who have made Asheville their home too. I will also introduce you to many of the famous people who have made this beautiful city their home and helped to make it one of a kind. Maybe you'd rather get out and experience the amazing natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I know where the best waterfalls are and the best views of the mountains. I'm also well versed in the natural history of the areas we will explore. Let me show you Mother Nature at her best. I have traveled around the world and know how to pamper my guests. My goal is to make your experience a cherished memory! I have permits to all of the National and State Parks in this area. Walking tours and are not recommended for people with knee or back injuries.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy mountain views on a short drive with me on this Asheville hiking tour to some of the highest waterfalls in Western North Carolina. These waterfalls have been featured in major motion pictures and advertisements for our state. As we walk along the Little River we'll discuss the history of this beautiful area and its natural development. The hike is about 2. 5 miles winds through a beautiful natural forest with stunning views of 2 beautiful waterfalls about 150 feet tall. After hiking to waterfalls we will drive through Pisgah National Forest to view another magnificent waterfall. You can choose to view from the top of the falls or walk to the base and experience the power of the falls. We will return to Asheville along the Blue Ridge Parkway stopping for photo's of this iconic drive. This is an iconic adventure that the whole family can enjoy and you won't want to miss!
* You will be picked up at your hotel or B&B and we will drive through the mountains to a park that features three waterfalls. Restrooms are available at the beginning and end of the section of the trip. * Once this portion of the tour is completed we will drive through Pisgah National Forest to a large free flowing waterfall. Your return trip to Asheville will be along the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway. * At the end of the tour you will be returned to the pick up location. The trip lasts about 4-5 hours in length depending on the number of waterfalls you care to hike to. Tour can be customized upon request
