Sit back, relax, and enjoy mountain views on a short drive with me on this Asheville hiking tour to some of the highest waterfalls in Western North Carolina. These waterfalls have been featured in major motion pictures and advertisements for our state. As we walk along the Little River we'll discuss the history of this beautiful area and its natural development. You have options regarding the length of this hike which can run between 2. 5 and 3. 5 miles and features between 2 and 3 waterfalls. We can also explore a covered bridge at the top of the falls or, if the weather is warm, go for a swim. This is an iconic adventure that the whole family can enjoy and you won't want to miss! After hiking to waterfalls we will return through Pisgah National Forest to view a stunning waterfall. You can choose to view from the top or walk to the base and experience the power of the falls.
* You will be picked up at your hotel or B&B and we will drive through the mountains to a park that features three waterfalls. Restrooms are available at the beginning and end of the section of the trip. * Once this portion of the tour is completed we will drive through Pisgah National Forest to a large free flowing waterfall. * At the end of the tour you will be returned to the pick up location. The trip lasts about 4-5 hours in length depending on the number of waterfalls you care to hike to. Tour can be customized upon request
