Seven Churches of Revelation multi-day Tour from Izmir/Kusadasi

Every year we get more inquiries for Biblical Tours in Turkey as a lot of people have recently discovered the important role these lands played in the history of Christianity. Turkey is a great place for people interested in Biblical archaeology, and this particular tour is perfect for our Christian guests who want to visit the Seven Churches mentioned in Revelation and walk in the footsteps of John and Paul. I have been guiding in Biblical sites very often and I can say that my Christian guests are quite impressed when they have the chance to visit these places. They always say that this tour makes them understand the Revelation better. The best part of the tour is probably the feeling guests have when they imagine John and Paul walking in the same streets so many centuries ago - they always mention it as their main impression! -D1: After we meet in Izmir, we visit Smyrna, "the suffering church" home of the 2nd century Bishop Policarp (1 hours). 1. 5 hour driving to Pergamon, "the compromising church" where we spend 2 hours; Revelation describes the city as "where Satan's seat is", a reference to the altar of Zeus. After the tour return to Izmir, overnight stay. -D2: 1. 5 hour driving from Izmir to Thyatira where we spend 1 hour - "the adulterous church" that, as mentioned in the Revelation, tolerated the false prophets. Drive another 1 and half hour to Sardes, "the dead church" where we spend 1 and half hour. After 30 min driving we visit "the faithful church" of Philadelphia where we spend 30 minutes, then drive 2 hours to Laodicea, "the lukewarm church"; after the tour 3 hour transfer to Kusadasi, overnight stay. -D3: We will visit Ephesus ("the loveless church'') House of Virgin Mary and Basilica of John (about 6 hours); 1 hour transfer to Izmir airport.
