Ephesus Full-day Shore Excursion from Izmir

We had a wonderful time, excellent experience. Nisrin was our tour guide, and had a driver(Sadet) to take us to all the places. She was knowledgeable, with a deep understanding of history, very accommodating, was able to manage our time so we were able to see everything we wanted. They took us to a wonderful local restaurant, with delicious Turkish food. We are so grateful for such a memorable time!

Our private group of 6 adults were picked up right on time from our hotel in Selchuk with a roomy vechicle and courtious driver. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgable and painted a colorful picture of the events and daily activities of the people from Epheses. Nesrin gets nothing but high paise from us. Thank you so much for making our tour the best experience in Turkey!

Nesrin was the perfect guide and great company. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We had a great day at Ephesus, visiting the local market in Selçuk and taking a trip up to the mountain village of Sirince, which was popular with local families enjoying a Saturday afternoon. Definitely wear trainers if possible. The paths at Ephesus can be slippery – you are walking on centuries old marble, after all – and Nesrin was careful to make sure that I was also careful. She did the same in Sirince where the roads are narrow, steep and uneven. She knew good places to visit, and we enjoyed some great local cuisine.

We had a lovely day in Ephesus with Nesrin. She is very knowledgeable and painted a comprehensive picture of Ephesus and its people. We enjoyed her kind and cheerful personality. She was able to answer our questions and explain everything we saw in detail. We had a wonderful lunch at a local farm and shared lively conversation and laughter. I would highly recommend Nesrin as a tour guide! She is a gem!

Nesrin was beyond just a tour guide with information. The greatest part of Nesrin was her passion and love of her country. It was apparent her appreciation for her people and her land. Yes, she was also all of the things you want in a tour guide: punctual, good communication in where and when to meet, and facts about what you’re looking at. However, the most rememberable and emotional part about our tour was when she took us to a family ceramics stop and family rug making stop. To interact with the people and hear their stories from generations ago was terrific. We thank Nesrin for all the great things you showed us. You’re the best.

We had an amazing day with Nesrin. She was extremely knowledgeable, sharing her deep expertise of the area's history and answering all of the questions we had. She was very easy going and great to get along with. Through her, I feel like I was able to picture Ephesus in its prime! She was also flexible. When we told her that we weren't really interested in churches, she gave us several alternative options. We loved the Turkish rug weaving demonstration at Ariel's - it was a very memorable experience! Thx!
