Hi I’m Wendy, an officially licensed guide since 2019. Although I wasn’t born in Segovia where I now live, I’ve spent years diving deep into Segovia’s history, traditions and everyday life, and I’m proud to share the city with the perspective of someone who truly feels at home here. I’m also accredited as an Official Guide of Castilla y León, and I offer tours for solo travellers as well as small groups. My goal is that every tour proves to be not only enjoyable but also meaningful. I like to create dynamic, unhurried experiences focused on history, architecture, cultural heritage and local life, tailored specifically to the people partaking in them. My main specialties include medieval history, Romanesque & Gothic art, Segovia’s urban development and the lesser-known corners that give the city its character. All my tours are done by foot, taking advantage of how perfect Segovia is for walking—where the best details reveal themselves slowly as you explore. I work with small groups (10-15 people) to keep the experience comfortable and personalized, adapting the pace to each group’s needs. I’m cheerful, sociable and naturally curious, and I genuinely enjoy showing visitors around, sharing stories, anecdotes and everyday insights. I can customize every itinerary to my travellers' interests and always like to add small breaks to enjoy the city and even provide local food recommendations.
