Hi, I am Leticia, a full time professional tourist guide from Segovia. I've been guiding in this city and it's surroundings for more than ten years. After I finished College I started working in the tourism industry and soon I decided I wanted to become a profesional guide. That was my vocation. So I worked hard to pass the exams of my region, Castilla y León. This accreditation gave me the opportunity to start working in something I really, really love. I feel very lucky to live in such a picturesque place and be able to show the heritage, the history, our customs and traditions to people from all over the world. Overview of your Segovia tour
Learn with me about these two amazing places, Segovia old city and La Granja Royal Site. Both places are unique and very close from each other. It is a fantastic way to take advantage of your time in Segovia. I like to deliver this tour because people get really impressed when they discover how much beauty you can see in a day. Segovia will impress you with its Roman Aqueduct, defensive walls, cobbled streets, medieval churches, palaces, the cathedral and the castle. And of course, before leaving the city, I will take you to one of the most breathtaking view of the castle, that inspired Disney for the Snow White movie. La Granja is a beautiful Royal Palace with unique gardens and monumental fountains all from the 18th C. This Baroque style palace served as a frequent summer house for the Spanish Royal Family up to the 20th C. Feel part of this great baroque work, where the wonderful fountains come to life to liven up our walk.

My wife and I scheduled a private tour of La Granja and Segovia full day excursion through Tours By Locals. Both La Granja and Segovia are a must see for anyone who appreciates the arts, architecture, and Spanish/European history. The one thing, the only thing that was more enjoyable than La Granja and Segovia was our tour guide, Leticia. Leticia is experienced, extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, and full of energy and excitement. Her remarkable knowledge of La Granja and Segovia, and her fantastic personality was the highlight of our trip. Your Segovia tour itinerary
*This tour can be customized according to your preferences. Please notice that the number of monuments we can visit depends directly on your preferences. We will meet at the hotel in Segovia or at the roman aqueduct to start with the visit. Then, we continue visiting the old city on foot: -the Main Street "Calle Real", -the old Jewish quarter, -"Plaza Mayor" (Main Square) and the Cathedral. -Canonical Quarter (medieval neighborhood). -the Alcázar castle and its fantastic views. Then you have some time for lunch and some quick shopping if you want. After lunch, we will take a local taxi that will take us to the La Granja palace. The distance is only 12 km. Not without first seeing the panoramic views of Segovia with a photo stop. We will visit the interior of San Ildefonso - La Granja palace (the interior is optional but highly recommendable). Afterwards, we will continue taking a walk through the wonderful palace gardens. Return taxi to Segovia.
