Overview of your Salamanca tour
We start the tour at Plaza Mayor, the centre of the city life, the most visited place by people from Salamanca and the rest of the world! You will be transported in a journey back to past, learning about history and curiosities while we go through the Rua Mayor street to get to the "The House of Shells Palace", where the legend says there is a treasure behind one of the Sea Shells. I bet know I arise your curiosity! Afterwards we will visit the building of the Jesuits Church and College learning about the religious heritage of this city. Like in a treasure hunt, we will then look for the famous "frog" on the University façade and visit lovely "Escuelas Menores" courtyard. Then we'll try to find the "astronaut" and the "devil with the ice-cream" at the New Cathedral's door with a great view of the domes of both Cathedrals, old and new. We'll finish our tour at Plaza de Anaya, a magic square where the old buildings stones contrasts with the green of the trees: perfect stop for shooting holiday photos!
