An amazing tour visiting the top attraction of the city: medieval quarter of Salamanca with its University founded 800 years ago, Cathedrals, House of Shells, breath-taking Plaza Mayor and lively streets. Enjoy the contrast in Casa Lis (Art Nouveau Museum) with more than 19 collections (statues, porcelain dolls, fans, glass, lamps…) made by international artists like Emile Gallé, Chiparus, Fabergé, René Lalique ). It is an incredible trip through history till the happy 20s ! Travellers love this tour because of the great contrast between diverse historical periods: a journey from Celtic and roman times, the lovely "belle epoque". . . and back to present. Casa Lis is one of my favourite places because it was a great discover when it was opened around 90s. Nobody in Salamanca knew about this incredible palace and the rich art treasures collected in the museum. You'll be worthless, I guarantee! And as a final Spanish touch I always recommend savouring the tasty hot spanish chocolate at Casa Lis Cafeteria.
