The best way to explore and appreciate my city heritage is walking. Salamanca has a big pedestrian area where you can find all the ancient monuments quite close. You can get a real feel for our past history visiting the old buildings: new and old Cathedral, the University building, the House of Shells…. Do not forget Salamanca is an old student city since 1218. I will lead you into the most significant buildings, taking you back in time. Travellers love this tour, like me, because you really can discover the city's heart. With me as your local guide you'll see what it is behind the old buildings, their history and mysteries: I was born here and I know every corner! Of course, during the tour I will give you information about my favourite places for a coffee break or a chocolate with "churros": a "must try", you won't regret it! I'll also suggest typical bars to taste the famous "tapas" so you can live this social experience as a local and taste traditional cuisine after the tour, having a relax time!
