PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM ON MATERNITY LEAVE UNTIL MARCH 2ND. I AM ACCEPTING BOOKINGS BUT MAY BE SLOWER TO RESPOND!!! Come and join me for relaxed tours that maintain the Spanish pace and way of life. I am a local guide who speaks fluent Spanish and native English (albeit with a British accent!) and I'd love to share this part of the world with you, plus all the hidden spots that I have found since moving to Spain. I originally moved to Spain for 10 months. . . six years ago! Having spent this time exploring all sorts of secret places, nooks & crannies in Cadiz Province, I now truly love sharing them! I first began guiding visiting friends & family informally before the pandemic . . . then friends of friends . . . and then mutual friends' acquaintances. This means my tours are laid-back & relaxing. I want us to enjoy our time together and make the most out of your vacation not rushing around, ticking off a checklist. I run guides with three distinct focuses: walking and exploring the beautiful nature of Cadiz; sampling and eating as many tapas & sherry as possible (I have the ability to consume my body weight in them); and meandering through the history and culture of Spain. Whenever possible, I love to combine all three! I also offer Special Cruise Packages in order to allow you to make the most of your day in Cadiz when cruising around Spain. In this case I'd pick you up from the port and drop you back with plenty of time before the ship departs again, and we will discuss what you're most interested in seeing during your day here! As for transportation, I can accompany you in your vehicle or provide a comfortable van with 9 seats (myself and a business partner share driving). Finally, please feel free to drop me message about bespoke tours personally tailored to you and your party. I want to know what interests you and help you make the most of this beautiful part of the world. I am energetic, enthusiastic and have all the strange facts that your heart desires! I am experienced in smooth-running logistics so you can sit back and enjoy your tour! -Bachelors in Classics (Latin, Greek & Ancient History) - University of Bristol. -Operational Manager of a Ski Company 2015-2018 -Provided Bay of Cadiz Tours since 2018 -Fully qualified touristic driver with Spanish Licence with 9 years of experience. -One week minimum notice for tours involving hiking. -Two weeks minimum for tours involving transportation.

I originally came to Spain 6 years ago and planned to stay 10 months. . . that didn't quite go to plan! What happened was. . . I fell in love! I fell in love with the culture and traditions of this part of the world and not just the wine and the siesta. I love the sense of living history that permeates throughout the city and I've even learned to dance flamenco! That's why I've created this tour, so that I can show you the culture of Jerez with some sherries; see some of the magnificent monuments; and meander through these timeless streets! In short, we'll spend two hours exploring the hidden corners of Jerez, stopping for some local wines along the way. Once we've all worked up an appetite, we'll be eating at one of Jerez's best kept secret venues. Wrapping up our day, we'll enjoy a final evening tipple in a local flamenco venue where no two nights are the same!! Please note that since this is an evening tour, we will not be entering local monuments but I can reserve your spots for the following day!
-We'll start our tour by meeting in the early evening at an arranged point for a sherry and some local history. -We'll continue by walking around the centre, seeing some famous local sights at the magical golden hour during sunset, such as jaw-dropping churches & stunning squares. Some of the highlights include: ·Plaza de la Asunción (also known as Square of the Notaries- come along to find out why!) ·The Alcazar fortress ·The Cathedral (officialy called San Salvador) -Once we've worked up an appetite, we'll proceed to enter a local restaurant for a modern Spanish dinner. Here we'll be sampling some traditional Spanish Food but with a modern twist! -After a few courses of a scrumptious dinner, we'll walk about ten minutes to a local Flamenco Bar. -On arrival at the bar, we'll have a Croft's Twist (a dangerously delicious local sparkling cocktail) whilst enjoying live authentic Flamenco! -As the evening draws to close, we'll return to your hotel or book a taxi home!
