Our group of 8 adults had a great day in Trujillo with Carmen! She took us to the Temple of the Moon, into the City to visit the market place and the city square, and to Chun Chun Palace. She is proud of her heritage and shared so much knowledge of her city and the ancient civilizations. I would highly recommend Carmen as your guide in Trujillo!
Carmen was an awesome tour guide - we were especially grateful for the way she was able to take my husband's trouble with walking into account and get us into the Temple of the Moon before it got crowded and then later in the day, adjusting our tour and taking my husband's walking speed into account as we reached each new destination. I highly recommend her services.
Our tour with Carmen was outstanding. We visited the St. Rose of Lima Cathedral and the Casa Calonge where Simon Bolivar once stayed in the Plaza de Armas of Trujillo, the Chan Chan site of the Chimu culture, a beach resort to watch the reed boats, and the Moon and Sun Temples. Carmen is an outstanding guide and gave very clear descriptions of the ancient cultures. She is was fun to be with. I very highly recommend this tour! Dan O'Brien

Our tour was excellent. The ruins are very impressive and I cannot understand why they are not better known and so few tourists come. Carmen Rosa is an excellent guide and I have already recommended her this morning in online forums. She has an excellent command of the subject but she does not push us too much with too much information. She lets us enjoy the site and take pictures.
Carmen did a terrific job. We viewed numerous Moche and Inca ruins in addition to modern Trujillo. The Moon and Sun Temples and the narrative that Carmen gave were excellent. The colonial part of town was interesting but like most other downtowns in Central and South America. Chan Chan was interesting. Carmen did an excellent job in a city that offers primarily archeological sites to visit.
