Robin L.
Hallo! After graduating from TU Delft, I decided that I did not want to work as an engineer....
Itinerary not perfect? Message Robin L. to build a tour that’s just right for you.
Join me on a combined tour of two of our most interesting cities (if you ask me): Delft and The Hague. Next to their historical value, both cities are also quite young and dynamic, but you'll have to find that out for yourself. We'll start this tour in The Hague (Den Haag), seat of government and a city filled with royal palaces, political landmarks, and world-class art. After, we’ll head to Delft, a beautifully preserved old city, home to Johannes Vermeer, Delft Blue, and William of Orange and much more. Having guided countless tours through both, I’m excited to share their fascinating stories with you. This tour will be informative, engaging, and fun. Let me know if you have any special interests—this tour is fully customisable! As this is a longer tour, I suggest that we eat lunch together in Delft. You can trust me with that. Tot ziens!
I can pick you up anywhere in the city center of The Hague or Delft. If we start at Plein in The Hague, the (incomplete) itinerary would be something like this: The Hague: Willem van Oranje statue Mauritshuis National government (Binnenhof) Prime minister’s office Lange Voorhout (our Champs-Élysées) Several embassies Palace Kneuterdijk Palace Noordeinde Old town hall Big Church (that is the name now) Passage (covered shopping street) Gevangenenpoort Transfer to Delft (I prefer the tram, line 1. We can also go by car if you wan to) Delft: Prinsenhof Old Church Smallest museum of Delft Water Board Orphanages Smallest house of Delft (still costs € 500,000) Meat Hall Weighing House Town Hall Markt square New Church House of Vermeer (not what the signs tell you) Synagogue, Weapons Arsenal, Dutch East India Company building

The easiest way to get from the center of The Hague to Delft (and vice versa) is by tram. Tram line 1 (easy to remember) connects the two cities. The ride that I normally take on this tour takes 27 minutes. You can mostly sit during the ride.
17A Plein, Den Haag, Zuid-Holland, 2511 CR Netherlands
We will meet each other in the middle of Plein square in The Hague, next to the statue of William of Orange. Alternatively, I can pick you up at any other location in the center of The Hague or Delft. Let me know!
