My name is Benjamin but everybody call me Benjy boy, I was born and raised in Mazatlán , love my city, which its name is La Perla del Pacifico, I have 22 years of experience working as license tour guide. What makes me a great tour guide is my way of being, my attitude, my knowledge, I have a good communication with clients all the time and I like to be in touch with them. In me free time I love to do sports such as baseball, I am a pitcher and I have been playing since I was 4 years old, I love surfing, I have traveled along the pacific coast of Mexico surfing and I was in heavenly places in Mexico on my surfing trips. Also I love going fishing, surf fishing, my favorite hunt is snook and red snappers and roster fish which I catch and release because is a great fighter. My biggest snook is 22 kilos (44 pounds), a red snapper of 28 kilos (56 pounds) and a rooster of 40 kilos (80 pounds). All of them from the shore, which surf fishing is very exited. My pasión of being a tour guide is because I can meet a lot of people from around the world, a lot of different cultures and I really enjoy doing my work as it brings the best out of me. I am so happy & proud to guide you through my city, our heritage, culture, traditions, one of the oldest cities on the pacific side, Mazatlán land of deer. I would love being your guide when you visit Mazatlan. I have 22 years of experience working as a license tour guide. In 2002 I got my permanent tour guide license (SECTUR). In 2012 I worked in los Cabos San Lucas for the G20, the most important presidents meeting in the world. In 2015 I drove the ex-president of Mexico Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de Leon and his family for a week in their Christmas vacations. I am a license tour guide. I have no restrictions at all as I have an official tour guide license issued by the Government that lets me guide tourist in all the federal, states and local areas.

We had a great time on our tour with Benjy. He is enthusiastic and knowledgeable and keeps the trip light and entertaining. You can tell that he is a proud native of Mazatlán and has a deep appreciation for the city. The tequila tour was a nice departure from staying in the town. In addition to a tour of the tequila plant and the tasting we visited a few villages on the way out of the city and got an appreciation for the country side. This tour delivered exactly as promised.

Benji Boy did an amazing job as tour guide of his beloved city Mazatlán. We have been to Mazatlán before and did they tourist things along the beaches. This time we wanted to experience the more authentic parts of Mazatlán. Boy, did Benji Boy deliver!!! From the greeting with our name on a sign, to his infectious smile, we are entertained all day. We loved the breakfast at a locals stop and the tequila tour was great as they were working to split the agave pineapples to roast. The tequila was very tasty!

Fantastic tour! Benji was great! Easy to find when exiting cruise terminal. The cruise ship time was confusing. Benji our guide knew exactly what was going on. The van was comfortable. We saw a lot and were very happy to have flexibilty in what we saw and where we went. Booking with tours by locals was easy. I would highly recommend Benji as a guide we felt safe and had a great experience on the tour. Benji has strong English language skills. I highly recommend this guide for a small group tour.
Your Mazatlan tour itinerary
The pick up time will be at 9:00 am at the cruise ship terminal or at agreed location by the client. From there we are going to go to La Noria wich is a town located 30 km away from Mazatlan, in La Noria we are going to visit the sandal factory and some craftman places and after that we are going to the Tequila factory, I will give you and explanation of the Tequila process, when I finish the explanation we do the Tequila tasting, when we are finished, we will be coming back to Mazatlán, going through new Mazatlán, the golden zone, the old town where you can see the cliff divers, the Cathedral, the old market, the city hall, the postal office (historical center), lunch is optional. Finally back to the cruise ship or your destination agreed location.
