Private Mazatlan Tour

Eduardo was fantastic! My family had a comfortable and exciting city tour. Eduardo explained alot about his beautiful city and even took us to a very good restaurant for lunch. He accommodated my 85 year old mom and her walker too. Communication was easy and timely too. We highly recommend Eduardo and his tour.

Unfortunately, most of our tour was a driving and sightseeing tour. I injured my knee on a tour two days prior to this tour. My mobility was limited. Walking was painful. Eduardo was helpful and supportive. Our stops were brief, with several rest stops built into our tour. Eduardo was extremely kind and courteous as well as very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Mazatalan. I would highly recommend him for any tour.

Eduardo was an excellent tour guide, he was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind to my 99 year old grandfather who was in a wheelchair. We went to the aquarium, the cathedral, shopping, beautiful vistas, watched the cliff divers, and had a beautiful seaside lunch. His van was clean, comfortable, and easily accommodated our party and the wheelchair. He provided cold waters for everyone, and even brought his lovely wife Karina along so that the van could always be moved per our needs. It was a perfect VIP experience. We enjoyed it so much, and would recommend him highly, thank you Eduardo!

We have booked many excursions with Tours By Locals in the past, and this was one of the best we've ever experienced. Our tour with Eduardo was the highlight of our entire cruise. We saw the highlights of Mazatlan from the perspective of a lifetime resident and even ate lunch at a restaurant frequented by locals. We had some elderly travel companions, and he was very accommodating to their needs. Thanks to Eduardo's knowledge and love for his home town, we fell in love with Mazatlan and know that we will be back!

We have enjoyed fantastic private tours by Tours by Locals in places like Vienna and Budapest. And now, Mazatlan Our private city tour with Eduardo was one of the highlights of our 7-day Princess Cruise. Eduardo revised his usual itinerary to meet our individual needs (walking limits) and include the places that we wanted to visit. I know that several of the places he took us to are not on the itineraries of the big tour companies. My wife and I especially enjoyed learning about and seeing where Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton filmed Night of the Iguana, got married and built a home in Mazatlan. Eduardo is very proud of and knowledgeable about Mazatlan and was able to identify several shops of interest to us. He is a very kind, warm, funny man who told a ton of stories about Mazatlan history and folklore that made our tour fly by.

I arranged this day trip in Mazatlan for my husband and me, and our travel partners . We are two retired couples from the US. Eduardo was simply terrific. He is extremely knowledgeable about his beloved city and country and speaks of it with such pride and love. His delightful sense of humor and manner added to our enjoyment of the day. We highly recommend Eduardo when you visit Mazaltan - a beautiful and colorful Mexican city.
