As an individual, I am interested in most everything that is related to art, culture, history (both yours and mine!) and the human psyche. My friends call me quirky for the range of interest I engage in. I hike, backpack, juggle, read and do a range of stuff that catches my fancy =D I usually feel at my best when it comes to sharing and learning. I'm an avid traveller with experiences of travelling, working and living abroad in Asia, North and South America. Hoping to hit at the very least half of the 196 countries before I shuck off my mortal coils. As a guide, I have a deep passion for culture, present lifestyle as well as history both mine and yours (where ever it is that you hail from!) and if there is a place in Malaysia where I could specialize or recommend a visit, it would be my hometown - the (600 years!) historical city of Malacca where it all begins! While I specialized in Malacca, I am also available for heritage tours of Kuala Lumpur for it is I would say the birthplace of modern-day Malaysia particularly in terms of economics and governance. Please do inquire should you be interested to have me as your guide in other cities/ locations in Malaysia as each city is uniquely rich in their respective local flavour! I am an English language city guide accredited by the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism. A Bachelor of Psychology graduate who ran from the comforts of an MNC company to be a freelancer in tourism :) A member of the Kuala Lumpur tour guide association (KLTGA) which stipulates ongoing tourism knowledge training as a requirement for license renewal and an former docent at the National Museum. I have also been accepted into a scholarship program as part of a tourism exchange to study Spanish in Colombia for 4 months in 2016 of which I managed to extend my stay to realize a childhood dream of visiting Macchu Picchu and the Nazca lines in Peru.

The itinerary of this tour is entirely customizable to fit the time of your layover. As time is of essence, it's always best if we are able to communicate to discover your priority and interest. As an avid traveler myself, I understand the desire to fit as much sights of the country as we could within a short layover. What better way than to short cut potential navigational issues, discover local haunts, get a glimpse cultural and historical insights than to have a local expert. While customizable, I would recommend visiting the heritage quarters of the city where historical centers, chinese temples, hindu kovil, mosques, churches, wet markets, craft markets are packed all within a 2km (1. 5miles) of one another. We should also not miss a photostop at the pride of the country, the petronas twin towers. Should you prefer a complete hassle free layover with additional comfort, I would be happy to arrange for a private transport to page and pick the party up from the airport. Please inquire for quotation.
Meet & Greet at KLSentral terminal (the KLIAexpress connects directly to the airport) Should we go with the suggested itinerary we would be visiting the following - Photostop at the river of life (foundation site of old KL) - Photostop at the Independence Square (independence field, clustered of picturesque Mughal/Mohammedan buildings, St. Mary's cathedral, Arch gallery, Jamek mosque) - Visit the Sin Sze Ya chinese temple OR the Sri Maha Mariamman hindu temple - Walkthrough Chinatown - Photostop at the Petronas Twin Towers * itinerary to be customized depending on available time & interest. eg stop for lunch/dinner/visit to the Petronas twin towers.
